Miniature:
Christ: Piet³l -- Before cross with titulus INRI, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands, sits supporting on her lap, body of Christ, nimbed, with crown of thorns, wearing short loin cloth. His head is supported by Evangelist John. At right, female donor, wearing black headdress, kneels with joined hands. Behind them are four Holy Women, all nimbed, two veiled, one with turban type of headdress, three with joined hands.
Scene in landscape with trees and hills in background on which are tower and another cross.
Margin, right:
Four angels, three kneeling with joined hands, in room with decorated wall, windows, and tile floor.
Margin, lower:
Christ: noli me tangere -- Mary Magdalene, nimbed, with joined hands, kneels, looking up toward Christ, nimbed, with crown of thorns, showing wounds, extending His right hand in blessing toward her, and holding bannered cross staff with left hand. On ground next to Mary Magdalene is jar. Scroll bearing pseudo-inscription is on tree between them.

Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament and inhabited by birds and hybrid man with body of fantastic animal.
