Livres des Merveilles du Monde: Scene, Norway -- To left, bear, animal, possibly hyena, and fantastic horned beast stand on rock. To right, on shore, man wearing pointed hat lowers object, possibly piece of leather, to water beside two men, one wearing turban-like headgear, with arms crossed on breast, and one wearing knotted headgear with left hand on scimitar tied to belt, and with right hand extended to left shoulder of first man. Scene in hilly landscape with bare trees and crenellated buildings in background. Initial N of Neorgie decorated with foliate ornament. Miniature for Livre de Merveilles du Monde for Norway.
