David: slinging at Goliath -- David as youth, holding sling in right hand, stands looking at Goliath, wearing helmet and armor, falling to ground, stone in forehead, bleeding from wound, raising right hand, holding with left hand spike-studded club or mace.
Scroll below miniature is inscribed NE REMINISCARIS.
David: in Prayer -- David, crowned, orant, kneels looking up toward cloud from which rays descend. Harp is on ground before him. Scene is enclosed in medallion in lower margin.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including daisy and strawberries in vase, and inhabited by mask of lion, foliage emerging from mouth.
