1) Apocalypse: Seal III, Black Horse -- John, name inscribed SCS IOH(ANNE)S, pearled nimbus, bearded, holds staff in right hand. He raises left hand toward inscribed scroll held by winged Beast (ox), inscribed T(ER)CIU(M) ANIMAL, pearled nimbus, emerging from clouds. Rider, wearing cap, holds rod and scales, mounted on dappled dark brown bridled horse, inscribed EQUUS NIGER.

2) Apocalypse: Seal IV, Pale Horse -- Rider, wearing pointed hat, holds flaming vessel in right hand and reins in left hand, mounted on pale brown horse, inscribed EQUUS PALLID(US). The animal emerges from flaming Hell Mouth, inscribed INFERNUS, in which are the Damned, including mitered bishop, three clerics, and woman, wearing berbette. To right, winged, nimbed Beast (eagle), inscribed Q(UA)RTU(M) ANIMAL, emerging from clouds, holds inscribed scroll, grasped by right hand of John, name inscribed S. IOH(ANNES), pearled nimbus, bearded, holding knobbed staff in left hand.
