Evangelist Mark, decorated nimbus, is seated on cushioned bench, feet on footstool beside draped lectern with inkwell and open book. He holds pen in right hand. In left hand, he holds scroll grasped by winged lion, decorated nimbus, descending. To left is curtain suspended from architectural frame decorated with foliate ornament.
