Apostle, Thomas: Incredulity -- Christ, crossed nimbus, body partially draped with shroud, holds, with right hand, cross-staff with cross inscribed banner. Scroll next to Christ is inscribed QUIA UIDISTI ME THOMA CREDIDISTI. BEATI QUI NON UIDERUNT ET CREDIDER(UNT) (John 20:29) He places left hand on right shoulder of Thomas, nimbed, kneeling, extending right hand to wound in side of Christ. Scroll next to Thomas is inscribed DOMINUS MEUS ET DEUS MEUS (John 20:28).
