Magi: Adoration -- Beneath star, Virgin Mary, rays as nimbus, veiled, is seated on mattress with pillow holding on her lap Christ Child, rays as nimbus, seated, wearing transparent cloth, extending hands to vessel filled with coins held by extended left hand of eldest Magus, with his right hand holding crown. Of the other two, crowned, the middle-aged Magus raises right hand and holds covered vessel with draped left hand beside youngest Magus holding covered vessel. In background, shed with wattled fence beneath which are heads of ox and ass. Scene in landscape and against patterned background. Borders decorated with foliate and ivy-leaf ornament.
