Christ: Presentation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, stands holding nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, extending hands toward cloth held by Simeon, nimbed. Simeon stands before draped altar on which is open book. Lamp hangs above the altar below canopy. Anna the Prophetess, nimbed, holding basket on left arm, and candle with right hand, stands behind Virgin Mary.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including columbine, and inhabited by birds, possibly pheasant and dove, and butterfly. In lower margin, scroll inscribed with motto POUR SON UOULOIR. Fragments of the motto repeated throughout decoration of border.
