Heraldry, French: Jean Louis de Nogaret -- Escutcheon decorated with the heraldry of Jean Louis de Nogaret: argent a walnut tree vert (Nogaret) impaling gules a cross of Toulouse or (L'Isle Jourdain), in chief gules a cross potent argent; over all, an escutcheon azure a bell argent (Largousan)
; surmounted by crown and surrounded by two collars one knotted and interspersed with scallop shells of the Order of the Holy Spirit, and one of interlocking M's alternating with fleur de lis of the Order of Saint Michael, oval medallion of Archangel Michael (transfixing dragon?) and Maltese Cross of the Order of the Holy Spirit in which is dove; above all, ducal coronet over helmet proper, surrounded by ermine-lined cape decorated with heraldic devices.
