Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, reclines in bed. Beside the bed is Christ Child, with rays as nimbus, swaddled, laying in manger, beside which are ass and ox. Joseph the Carpenter, wearing hat, sits on bench at foot of the bed, holding cloth in both hands before fire in firepit.
Miniature enclosed in fluted frame with quatrefoils at corners, within an outer frame of decorated bands, with ivy-rinceaux ornament extending into margins.
