Evangelist Mark, nimbed, wearing hat, ermine lined cloak, and purse at waist, is seated on throne before cloth of honor. He writes on scroll hanging over desk supported by wings of evangelist symbol (lion), nimbed.
Figures in mosaic or bejeweled interior with vaulted ceiling and two leaded windows.
Margins decorated with border of foliate rinceaux, and foliate and floreate ornament.
