Evangelist Mark, decorated and rayed nimbus, wearing turban, seated under canopy, writes on inscribed scroll draped across his lap. To left, lion faces him. In background, draped table, on which are two books, one with two straps, inkpot and other utensils. Patterned fabric hung on back wall.
