Shepherds: Annunciation -- Nimbed angel, with right hand raised and scroll in left hand, descends from clouds toward one of two hooded shepherds. He stands with left hand raised toward the angel and holds pedum in his right hand, accompanied by dog and ram. The other, seated on grassy ground with trees, raises his right hand and holds bagpipe in his left hand.
Scene with gold background, within decorated initial D embellished with filigree in spandrels. Margins decorated with foliate extensions, and inhabited by dog pursuing rabbit in the lower margin.
