Psalm 039 (Vulg., 038).
1) Initial D:
David, crowned, indicates his mouth with his left hand, raises his right hand, and kneels before Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, holding book in His left hand and raising His right hand. Both flank tree.
Scene within initial D of verse 1, decorated with geometric and foliate ornament, and diapered background and spandrels.
2) Pen-drawn line endings:
Hybrid man and abstract penwork.
