Shepherds: Annunciation -- Amid sheep, one of two shepherds stands, raising right hand, holding pedum with left hand. The second is seated on ground extending left hand, and raising right hand. Third shepherd, behind hill at right, raising left hand, looks up toward angel, nimbed, emerging from arc of Heaven, holding with left hand, scroll inscribed A(NN)UNCIO UOBIS GAUDIUM MA(G)NU(M). Tree on hill in background.
Miniature in framed barbed quatrefoil. Initial D with foliate ornament. In margins, rectilinear bars with foliate ornament.
