Apocalypse: Christ and Candlesticks -- John, nimbed, prostrate, extends hands to flaming right foot of Christ, crossed nimbus, knotted sash across breast, extending right hand downward in blessing toward John. Left foot of Christ also in flames. He is flanked by seven candlesticks. Behind John, pencase and inkpot are atop book lying on scroll on ground. All are on island in landscape with city, one building with awning (?) over door, another with statue surmounting column between two arches. Illustration of Revelation 1:17.
