Christ: Last Judgment -- As initial E, Christ, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing, nude body partially draped, is seated on arc with feet on tripartite globe within mandorla. He is surrounded by angels; angel below the globe playing trumpet from which emerge two scrolls inscribed SVRGITE MORTVI VENITE AD IVDICIVM. Mandorla is flanked by two groups of people, some possibly nimbed, one crowned holding harp, possibly David, wearing hats or headdresses, popes wearing triple-crowned tiaras, monks, crowned woman. In upper margin, half-figure of God, wearing triple-crowned tiara, raising right hand in blessing, holding cross-surmounted tri-partite globe with left hand, enclosed by cloud-edged arc of Heaven, flanked by winged heads and by two scrolls inscribed SI ACVERO VT FULGUR GLADIUM MEUM ET ARRIPUERIT IUDICIUM MANUS MEA (Deuteronomy 32:41). In right margin, medallion enclosing Holy Ghost, crossed nimbus, as dove, wings spread with scrolls above and below inscribed DE DVCAM OMNES GENTES IN VALLIM IOSAPHAT ET IBI DISCEPTABO (Joel 3:2, variant) In lower margin, at left figures rise from graves, some with joined hands raised, hands crossed on breast. Angel is center of lower margin. At right, are damned (?); devil and serpent are visible.
