Fable: Swallow and Birds -- Man, wearing hat, is seated on stool, weaving net suspended from tree, in which are flock of swallows, some flying. Scene before house with closed door and with fields and landscape in background. Miniature for Aesop’s Fable of "The Swallow and the Other Birds." Miniature framed by wreath with four ribbons and medallions, each medallion decorated with pair of wings as emblem of Louise of Savoy. Text summary in French verse is on facing page, within similar frame.
