Lamech: abused by Wives -- Lamech, arms crossed at waist, stands, flanked by his wives Sella, named inscribed SELLA, veiled, grasping the top of his garment with her left hand, and Ada, name inscribed ADA, veiled, grasping the top of his garment with her left hand and his hair with her right hand.
Caption, LAMETH AFFLIGITUR A DUAB(US) UXORIBUS SUIS, is inscribed above scene.

Right column:
Job: smitten by Satan and Job: with Wife -- Job, wearing hat, his body covered with sores, crouches, holding round object with both hands. Scroll next to his head is inscribed BENEDIC D(E)O ET MORERE (Job 2:9). At left, wife of Job, veiled, scroll next to her head inscribed USQUEQ(UO) TU P(ER)MANES I(N) SIMPLICITATE TUA (Job 2:9, variant), raises scourge with left hand and extends left hand to Job. At right, devil, horned, raises scourge with right claw and places his left claw on shoulder of Job.
