Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- In initial U, archangel Gabriel, nimbed, holds with left hand scroll inscribed AVE MARIA G(RATIA) from Luke 1:28 and raises right hand. In initial D, Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, stands on podium and extends her hands toward the angel.
