Erasmus of Gaeta: Scene, Martyrdom -- Erasmus, tonsured, wearing short loin cloth, is bound to board beneath windlass turned by man. From cut in Erasmus' abdomen, his entrails are wound onto the windlass. Another man, wearing hat, holding rod (?) in left hand, witnesses scene. Buildings of city in background.
