Initial D decorated with diapered infilling, and adjoined by fantastic animal with tail of foliate tendrils entwined with fantastic animal with round object in its jaws, and with female warrior, wearing berbette, and soldier wearing visor with crest, in mail, both combatting with spears and shields, one decorated with lion rampant, and both seated on back of the fantastic animal, in upper margin.
Line ending: fantastic animal.
Line ending: esscutcheon of azure, two axes addorsed argent.
Line ending: man, in jaws of fantastic animal, armed with sword and shield (buckler), encountering nude man, indicating hindquarters with right hand, holding stick in left hand, and looking back (Scene, Obscaena).
Line endings: geometric and foliate ornament.
