Initial C enclosing bust of man wearing cap. Left margin decorated with floreate ornament and gold balls. Man wearing hat, both hands raised holding vase (?) with foliage, near gutter in left margin. Pen-flourished initials. Text is seventh lesson of third nocturn for Matins on the Sunday after the Octave of Christmas.
