Angel, Archangel Michael: transfixing Satan -- Archangel Michael, wearing cross-inscribed pallium, with right hand raising sword and with left hand holding shield above one of two devils, one, animal-like and burrowing in ground, the other, horned and possibly female, raising both hands. Margins decorated with border of scrolling acanthus and flowers including strawberry flower. Miniature facing the beginning of Memoria to Archangel Michael.
