Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary and Joseph the Carpenter, both nimbed, kneel with joined hands raised toward nude Christ Child, with crossed rays as nimbus, laying in cloth-lined basket. Rays descend from above to the Christ Child. Behind the basket are ox and ass, and in background, two young men, possibly shepherds, witness scene from behind low wall.
Margins with foliate ornament, including strawberries.
