Half figure of man, possibly Jerome, displaying open book, held with both hands.
Figure within initial M decorated with foliate ornament.
Margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament, inhabited by tonsured monk, and terminating in two foliate medallions enclosing two birds, and flanking bearded head of man with ears of ass.
