David: cursed by Shimei -- David, raising both arms, kneels next to scroll inscribed DIMITTE EU(M) UT MALEDICAT M(IH)I SI FORTE RESPICIAT D(OMIN)US AFFLICTIONE(M) MEAM. At left, standing over David is man holding sword with right hand, wearing sheath on left side. He stands next to scroll inscribed USQUEQU(O) CANIS MORITUR MALEDIC(IT) D(OMIN)O MEO REGI UADA(M) ET AMPUTABO CAPUT EIUS. At right Shimei, name inscribed SEMEI, wearing hat, holds stick with raised right hand, and stick and stones in left hand. Other sticks and stone are on ground before David.

David: Messengers to Hanun -- Messenger, holding message or book with right crouches before Hanun, crowned, holding beard of messenger with left hand and with knife in right hand, cuts the beard or stabs neck of messenger. Behind Hanun one of two men raises both arms. The other, head inclined to right, arms crossed, possibly bound, holding knife with right hand, wearing sheath at left side, bleeds from wound in neck.
