Christopher of Lycia: carrying Christ Child -- Christopher of Lycia, both hands holding staff, walks in water, supporting on shoulders Christ Child, rayed cross as nimbus, right hand raised in blessing. On far shore, hermit, holding lantern in left hand, looks on.
At bottom of miniature, two winged putti hold up text block and scroll inscribed CHASTE VIE LOVE.
