Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus-- Judas embraces Christ, crossed decorated nimbus, with right arm around His neck. Christ raises left hand, and inclines head toward head of Judas and looks down toward Peter, nimbed, raising sword with right hand, having cut off ear of Malchus, crouching before Peter, holding candle on ground. Christ holds the ear in right hand, before Peter. Christ and Judas stand amid seven soldiers wearing helmets and armor, one holding sword, another holding lantern, and a third holding torch (?). Man at right, wearing cap, with scimitar at waist, grasps robe of Christ with left hand.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament on gold and with medallion at each corner enclosing prophet holding blank scroll.
