David: cursed by Shimei -- Abishai, name inscribed ABYSAI, stands behind David, inscribed DAUID REX, crowned. He raises left hand and looks toward Shimei, name inscribed SEMEI, holding stone with both hands, looking toward David. Stones and wood are on ground between them.
Caption, SEMEY MALEDIX(IT) REGI DAUID P(RO)IECTUS (CON)T(RA) EU(M) LAPIDES ET LIGNA, is inscribed above miniature.
Right column:
David: Messengers to Hanun -- Small figure, standing behind messenger inscribed NU(N)CI(US), lifts hem of his garment, exposing drawers. The messenger stands facing Hanun, inscribed REX ANON (altered to AMON in later hand), crowned, extending his hands to beard of the messenger.
