Initial N decorated with diapered infilling and foliate ornament, and with marginal extension of foliage and fantastic animal, at beginning of Canticle of Simeon in Compline of Hours of the Holy Spirit.
Initial M decorated with diapered infilling and foliate terminals entwined with male acrobat with legs stretched across above fantastic animal bitten by fantastic animal, forming diagonal descender into lower margin, at beginning of Collect in Compline of Hours of the Holy Spirit.
Line ending: escutcheon of gules, a bordure argent.
Line ending: fantastic animal.
Line ending: man, in jaws of fantastic animal, armed with sword and shield (buckler), encountering nude man, indicating hindquarters with right hand, holding stick in left hand, and looking back (Scene, Obscaena).
Line ending: long-eared hybrid animal with two bodies.
Line endings: geometric and foliate ornament.
