Initial:
Ecclesiastes the Preacher, crowned, raising disk in right hand, is seated on cushioned bench.
Scene within initial U decorated with head of man with beard, foliate ornament and with foliate extenders.
Margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament inhabited by man holding scroll with right hand and raising left hand, by tonsured monk, by bird, and terminating in foliate medallion enclosing bishop holding book with draped left hand.
Beginning of Ecclesiastes.
