1) Evangelist Mark, is seated on cushioned bench, holding knife in left hand and writing (?) on book or parchment on lectern. Above is head of Evangelist Symbol, lion, nimbed.
2) Christ: Miracle of stilling Storm -- Of three Apostles, the foremost touches shoulder of Christ, nimbed, all in ship decorated with two birds' heads; Christ grasps prow.
3-4) Christ: Miracle of Gadarene Swine -- Christ, cross-nimbed, raises right hand toward demon, horned, issuing from mouth of demoniac, hands raised, next to one of two swine with demon in mouth. Below, Christ, cross-nimbed (?) raises right hand above head of healed demoniac, raising hands.
Scenes against background of gold within initial I in medallions formed by vine, decorated with interlace and foliate ornament.
