Initial M, decorated with foliate ornament, enclosing two foliate vine scrolls each terminating with animal head biting the initial. Beginning of Prologue for Ecclesiastes. Ecclesiastes, crowned, raising left hand, is seated on bench. Before him, youthful man, eyes closed, head falling back, raises covered vessel with left hand. Curtain is above. All enclosed in decorated initial U. Beginning of Ecclesiastes. Pen flourished initial.
