Christ: of Sorrows -- Christ as Man of Sorrows, cross-nimbed, bleeding from wounds, standing in sarcophagus, flanked by Virgin Mary, veiled, hands clasped, and Evangelist John, joined hands raised, both nimbed.
On wall behind Christ are the following instruments of the Passion: two unidentified objects, cross with two scourges, purple garment, sponge, spear, ladder and sudarium, all hung on arms of cross, lantern, pincers, hammer, nails, scimitar, and cock on column.
Foliate border decorated with flowers in right margin.
Initial D decorated with foliate ornament begins Matins of the Long Hours of the Cross.
