Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- Draped bier, under catafalque set with candles, is flanked by four mourners draped in black, each holding candle, and by two groups of tonsured clerics, standing under arches of aisles. In each group, one, wearing priest's vestments, holds open, inscribed book. A fifth mourner stands with left group.
Against far wall of choir is draped altar with tripartite, gold retable. The central panel is inscribed with image of Crucifixion; the flanking panels are inscribed with standing figures. Scene inside "Chapelle Ardente."
