Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, arms crossed on breast, reclining on mattress on bier, before Christ, cross-nimbed, holding swaddled, nimbed soul of Virgin Mary, flanked above by two flying, nimbed angels, all surrounded by twelve apostles, including Apostle Peter, swinging censer in right hand, Evangelist John, behind bier and bent over her, and Apostle Paul at foot of bier and touching her feet, and by three men, possibly bishops, footstool before bier in foreground; title inscription.
