Apocalypse: Angel I, Everlasting Gospel -- John, rayed nimbus, stands behind stone wall on which is book. Right hand rests on the book. With left hand he indicates angel flying above holding open book face out with right hand and with left hand scroll inscribed TIMETE ET HONORATE DEUM (paraphrase of Revelation 14:7). At right are woman, wearing headdress, seated, looking toward John, and several men wearing hats or turban-like headgear, many looking up toward the angel. Illustration of Revelation 14:6-7.
