Group of men, most only tops of heads visible, kneeling, looking upward, foremost three with joined hands (praying). Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament, including holly, thistle, grape, cornflower, and daisy, and inhabited by wild man extending shield with right hand and raising rod with left, and by fantastic animal similar to griffin. Text is invitatory for Matins on 1st Sunday after Pentecost.
