Christ: Miracle of raising Lazarus -- Old bearded man stands behind Mary and Martha of Bethany, one nimbed, veiled, with joined hands raised, both standing beside open sarcophagus in which stands Lazarus. Lazarus, partially draped in shroud, wearing chin strap, has joined hands raised toward Christ, with crossed rayed nimbus, standing with right hand raised in blessing. Behind Him stand two nimbed apostles, one nimbed, possibly Peter, and before him on ground is skull. In background is city.
Miniature enclosed in frame inscribed DOMINE SI FVISES HIC FRATER MEVS NON FVISET MORTVVS SET ET NVNC SCIO VERE QVOD CUNQVE POPSCERIS A [DEO] (sic).
Amid foliate ornament in margins are nude hybrid man with striped tail astride bird; half figure of man, wearing hat, looking at miniature; bird; half figure of hooded man with left arm raised over head; and nude man astride another nude man on all fours.
Miniature and ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
