Zechariah, raising right hand and holding scroll with left hand, stands below arch surmounted by four turrets and chimney (?), on gold background within initial I. Zechariah stands on neck of winged fantastic animal descending from bottom of initial, terminating in foliate ornament.
Beginning of Zechariah (Vulg., Zacharias).
