Initial C decorated with diapered infilling and foliate terminals.
In left margin adjoining the initial, man with leg in jaws of animal as descender, and woman, wearing snood and berbette, with legs in jaws of fantastic animal as ascender, both combatting with swords and shields.
Line ending: two escutcheons, one Boisleux, and the other vert, a fess argent.
Line ending: long-eared hybrid animal with two bodies.
Line ending: cat holding mouse in mouth.
Line endings: geometric and foliate ornament.
