Scene, Liturgical: Prayer -- Male figure, possibly member of du Bois family, or husband of Hawisia du Bois, kneels with joined hands raised before draped altar on which is chalice covered with corporale. Above, Christ, crossed nimbus, as half figure, with right hand raised in blessing and tripartite globe in left hand.
Scene against gold diapered background within initial A with ornament of foliage; spandrels decorated with diapered ornament.
Margins decorated with rectilinear foliate extensions, including oak leaves, and sprigs of foliage.
In upper margin, two hybrid animals.
In lower margin, rabbit pursued by two dogs, and heraldic escutcheon of du Bois, variant (argent, two bars gules, on a canton of the second a mullet of the field).
In left margin, heraldic escutcheon of du Bois (argent, two bars and a canton gules).
