Apocalypse: Earth, Vintage -- In sky, angel emerges from doorway of building, holding sickle with right hand and extends left hand toward scroll inscribed UINDEMIA BOTROS TERRE Q(UONIAM) MATURE ET (CETERA). (Revelation 14:18, variant) Second angel extending the scroll with right hand, stands before draped altar with reredos decorated with sculpture of Christ affixed to tau cross with blank titulus, possibly flanked by Virgin Mary and Evangelist John, both nimbed. Below, third angel, with sickle in right hand, cuts grapevine grasped with left hand. At right, two bridled horses drink from red stream. In background is walled city with gate and portcullis over stream. Illustration of Revelation 14:17-20.
