Florentius, nimbed and tonsured, wearing surplice and cassock, with joined hands raised, kneels before draped altar. Front of the altar and reredos,are decorated with niches in which are statues. Curtain to left of the altar hangs between three columns all surmounted by angel, two holding candles, third holding object.
Below miniature is inscribed FLORE(N)S FLORE(N)TI NVMEROSO MVNERE CHRISTI TV ME CO(N)TINVA SEVES (?) O(MN)E.
