David: bringing Head of Goliath to Saul -- Woman, veiled, and Saul, crowned, both seated, raise their hands toward young David, kneeling on left knee, holding with both hands sword on which is impaled head of Goliath.
Four vignettes in right and lower margins:
1) David: beheading Goliath -- Young David, raising sword in both hands, stands on Goliath, laying on ground.
2) Angel holding sword in each hand.
3) David: in Prayer -- David, crowned, kneels with joined hands raised. Behind him helmeted soldiers lay on ground.
4) Scene, Battle -- Two groups of armored horseman with lances face each other.
Left margin with foliate ornament.
