Scene, Liturgical: Procession -- Up steps to Old St. Peter's, flanked by statues of Apostles Peter holding key, and Paul holding sword, process guards, holding candles (?), followed by cardinals, clerics, some carrying books, one carrying crucifix, bishops carrying candles, four soldiers carrying guns (?), two clerics carrying lanterns (?) on poles, two others carrying censers; four men carrying baldachino, under which is pope, wearing tiara, holding monstrance, seated on litter borne by four men, all surrounded and followed by soldiers carrying halberds; clerics and more soldiers follow. Overhead, among clouds, fly winged putti, many holding flowers, one with basket (?) of flowers. At top is Trinity, God and Christ, seated, with dove of Holy Ghost hovering between them. Apostles Peter, holding keys, and Paul, holding sword (?) sit before them looking down at the procession. Flanking the two apostles, are bishops, cardinals, and other male saints.
