Left column:
Christ: Crucifixion, nailed to Cross --Christ, crossed nimbus, body covered with wounds, bleeding from wounds in left hand and feet, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with nails to cross with titulus INRI. Scroll next to His head is inscribed P(ATE)R DI(MI)TTE ILLIS Q(UI) NESCIU(N)T Q(UOD) FACIU(N)T (Luke 23:34, variant). The cross is on ground, surrounded by four men: one holding rope tied to right arm of Christ, nail and hammer on ground next to him; man hammering nail into left hand of Christ; two men flanking foot of cross, one bracing base of cross with left foot, the other, builder's T square hanging from waist, hammering nail into feet of Christ.Right column:
