Divina Commedia, Inferno: Scene, Lucifer -- Lucifer, as winged devil with three heads, with legs frozen in ice, stands and devours with his three heads nude souls of Brutus of Rome, devoured feet first; Judas, devoured head first; and Cassius of Rome, devoured feet first. Virgil and Dante, wearing hat, climb on Lucifer's torso. Flanking Lucifer are seven contorted nude souls.
