Scene, Liturgical: Procession -- Bishop, wearing miter, holds monstrance with right hand. He is flanked by tonsured men and is beneath canopy, which is supported by five men, wearing hats. Scene is within decorated initial C.
Face of man, wearing hat, is in penwork initial E.
Top and bottom margins are decorated with floreate borders. In lower margin is cross-surmounted escutcheon with arms of Jean Coeur (azure, three hearts gules, on a fesse or three escallops argent), flanked by scrolls with inscription MORIR COVIE(N)T SOVE(NT) ADVIE(N)T ET NEN SOVIE(NT).
